Forest gardening is about growing layers of useful and edible crops whilst gardening in harmony with nature. Sometimes it can feel like we are growing forest gardens in isolation, especially if you are growing in your own garden. So I thought, why not create a place to get nerdy about edible and useful plants, ask questions about what has worked in other forest gardens, discover some great planting combinations and share your successes and ‘learning experiences’.

Each month I will write an article about my forest garden adventures and share a vlog about the community Forest garden I am helping to create at Woodville in Keighley in one of the most deprived towns in the UK.

Paid subscribers have the additional benefit of access to the monthly live ‘Forest gardeners question time’ with mini masterclass and plenty of time for Q&A as I always find this part the most fun.

All proceeds from this paid membership will go directly to help the forest garden club in Keighley, West Yorkshire to flourish and grow. Once the costs of the project are met, additional funds will allow forest gardening to spill out into the wider community in Keighley’s public green spaces meaning those without a garden can forage for nutritious, diverse and delicious food. A vital and much needed resource in areas with no access to growing spaces.

This project means so much to me, it is my mission to get more people growing forest gardens in any sized garden from bigger than an acre to a small raised bed. Come and join in, be inspired, learn new skills and share with others you think would love to join the club
